Polyurethane is not a new product – Europeans have been enjoying the benefits for some decades now. However, traditional spraying processes have always been complex, cumbersome and expensive.

SX Rubber has changed all that…

Polyurethane is essentially one of the most durable products ever invented. When mixed and sprayed, the two components of Polyurethane (Hardener and Resin) react chemically to form an elastomeric agent which vigorously adheres to most surfaces. The end result is a pliable and seamless protective lining which is impervious to water, is extremely resistant to abrasion, cutting and gouging.

Our product is UV stable, is tolerant to a wide range of temperatures and climatic conditions, and also has elastic capabilities. It is resistant to corrosion causing chemicals; oil; fuel and solvents.

Curing time after spraying is approx. 50 seconds, which not only makes vertical spraying possible, but even overhead spraying. Any contact with water after 50 seconds will have no effect on curing. Though cured to full strength within 24 hours, it is only a matter of 30 -40 minutes until it is “workable”, cutting downtime to a minimum.

Preparation is always the key to any successful installation and we at Auto Pro SX believe in only the best preparation, before we apply an SXRubber spray-on Coating.

SXRubber Spray-on Polyurethane Coatings are available in 3mm or in 5mm thickness.
